HEY FBLA! We will be attending a tour of the Los Angeles Times editorial building and production plant on Thursday, December 3. It will be a great opportunity to see what it takes to make a major newspaper. Before deciding whether or not you would be interested in attending, make sure you won't be missing anything important on the day of the tour. We will leave at 9:45 AM and return at 3:00PM, so you WILL be missing some classes. Attire will be business casual. |
This year FBLA is working with the Red Cross for the Holiday Mail for Heroes program to show our appreciate for the nation's armed forces. The purpose of this project is to share the enthusiasm of the holiday season with service members who are unable to travel home for the holidays. Come help a school-wide effort hosted by FBLA to make cards for soldiers and service members! It will take place at lunch in room B116 and afterschool from November 16-25. The card making schedule is as follows: Mon 11/16 - Afterschool Wed 11/18 - Lunch and Afterschool Fri 11/20 - Lunch and Afterschool Mon 11/23 - Lunch and Afterschool Tues 11/24 Lunch and Afterschool Card-making supplies will be provided so you don't need to bring anything but your creativity! HEY FBLA-ERS! Our first Membership (Halloween) Meeting of the year will be on Thursday, October 29 @ lunch in the small gym! Make sure to drop by because we have an exciting activity planned!
